Finance Contract (Serapis N° 2010-0484)

The Republic of Moldova has received financing (Loan) in the amount of EUR 75 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to undertake the ”Wine Sector Restructuring Program” - that will address the structural weaknesses in the Moldovan wine industry, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for related consulting services to be procured under this project. The services required by Project will be provided by a locally full time hired Project Assistant with extensive experience in administrative/translation activities.

The main objectives of the assignment are to provide support to PIU on the following:

The Project Assistant shall provide administrative and translation assistance to the Project. The support made available by Project Assistant in the daily work of the Project staff on project-related matters is important in order to fulfill the project agenda.

The Consultant will be hired during the lifetime of the Project (5 years), but with an initial contract for 1 year.

The CONSOLIDATED UNIT FOR IMPLEMENTING AND MONITORING THE WINE SECTOR RESTRUCTURING PROGRAM now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information on the below qualification requirements, indicating that they are qualified to perform the services:

1.     University degree in English philology;

2.     2-3 years of previous experience as Project assistant (in projects financed by international financial organizations – is an advantage);

3.     Experience in doing oral and written translations (English/Romanian);

4.     Excellent command of Romanian and English (for written and oral translations).

5.     Excellent computer skills;
