The Directorate of General Control and Human Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry is an independent structural subdivision within the Ministry, whose functions include:

• Coordination of the activities connected with the timely and adequate preparation by the Ministry’s structural subdivisions of the materials for examination at the meetings of the Ministry’s Collegium; assistance with the necessary methodology for the production and development of draft decisions, orders, instructions, regulations and other regulatory documents in the official state language and in Russian;
• Maintenance of the documentation files and systematic summary of the fulfillment on the part of the Ministry’s structural subdivisions of the laws, decisions, orders and instructions issued by the higher authorities;
• Methodological and organizational assistance to the Ministry’s centralized subdivisions for the fulfillment of the secretariat’s functions in compliance with the applicable legislation;
• Organization of the reporting and control over the timely examination of the applications, claims and complaints submitted by citizens as well as persons employed in agriculture or food industry in compliance with the Law on applications, claims and complaints no. 190-XIII of 19.07.1994;
• Methodological and organizational guidance and control over the maintenance of archive files in the Ministry;
• Provision of the necessary logistics support to the Ministry’s structural subdivisions;
• Ensuring the confidentiality of the Ministry’s work and non-disclosure of state secrets.
